Since conditions were not ideal this past week. I thought I’d share a few photos from my trip this past fall to San Clemente Island! It is the most southernly of the 8 channel islands and owned by the US Navy. It’s a long haul to get here and only accessible by infrequent charters. Weather and swells can be a challenge too. But if you are lucky to capture a good day here, you won’t forget it! Its an incredible underwater playground that’s full of life and gorgeous kelp forests that create a canopy of light as you swim through. Schools of fish, tope sharks, horn sharks, giant sea bass are only a fraction of what you can find here. I’m definitely looking forward to my return trip to San Clemente in April!
