Dive Report 8.12.12 – Floatopia

August 12, 2012 by underwaterpaparazzi Leave a Comment

La Jolla, California – Scripps Canyon and Flat Rock

3 boats, 8 divers and a beautiful day of diving. a group of us caravaned out to Scripps Canyon first. Conditions were flat, no swell, just awesome. Viz ranged from 15-25 feet.  After a relaxing surface interval we headed over to Flat Rock. Viz was a hazy 8-12 feet with moderate surge. Still cool to see a new site though!. TONS of seaweed and a rocky bottom. Afterwards we cruised back to Mission Bay, anchored off, tied the boats together and grilled out and relaxed the rest of the day. Not a bad little Sunday!
