La Jolla Shores, California
I suffer from FOMO…. otherwise know as “Fear Of Missing Out”. So even though I was in the water yesterday… the conditions were so nice for the shores I felt like I had to go again….or I might miss out on something. It’s a problem, I know. A problem that I’m widely made fun of for. I’m ok with it. 😀 The ocean had a pretty blue green color to it in the shallows and still some chop on the surface but nothing like yesterday. We dropped around 31 feet and pretty much nailed the canyon wall. I know “good viz” is subjective depending on which diver you’re talking too, but I thought it was pretty freaking good. It still has the milky haze but I could see a good 20 feet. I’m stoked with a decent 10 feet of viz, so conditions like these are a treat for me. And no surge, which is always awesome! All the usual twilight critters out and about and I think I got a photo of the same fringehead out of its hole as I did yesterday. I think. 😀 It was a very relaxing dive. Shallows had a ton of pipe fish that kept distracting me, causing Kimo and Jovan to keep back tracking for me. Sorry guys. When I’m in the water, sea creatures are like jewelry to me. Ohhhhhhhh look! Something shiny! hehe

Love ready about these adventures as always. And, the poor Sarcastic Fish (I didn’t get the name right) is sure ugly.
